Gun Store, Restaurant Deal Puts M-16, Margarita In Customer's Hands

State Rep. Sean Jerguson's Hi Caliber Firearms offers $87 deal to customers for an outing at gun store and for appetizers and margaritas at a local restaurant.

State Rep. Sean Jerguson (R-Holly Springs) is partnering with a Holly Springs Mexican restaurant to offer a deal that involves an outing at his gun store, appetizers and margaritas.

Jerguson's Hi Caliber Firearms and Tacos and Beer are offering customers $39 for a "shooting range opportunity with an appetizer and margaritas for two."

In order to receive the deal, buyers must head to Hi Caliber where they will obtain admission to the range (a $14.99 value for the first shooter and $8.99 value for the second), the ability to rent one automatic firearm (a $19.99 value), two 20-round boxes of ammunition (at $8.99 value for each box), two sets of eye and ear protection ($2 value each) and two targets (at $1.29 value per target).

The value of the deal at Hi Caliber amounts to $87.68.

After they take advantage of the Hi Caliber deal, participants can then head over to Tacos and Beer and enjoy one appetizer (worth up to $9.25) and two margaritas (worth $4.25 each).

The deal, which expires on Jan. 30, 2013, does have some stipulations, however. It's limited to one per person and participants are required to redeem the gun rental at Hi Caliber before heading over to the restaurant. It's also only valid for the rental of M-16 machine guns.

Jerguson's deal comes on the heels of a Powder Springs couple, in the process of developing an indoor shooting range, last month obtaining an alcohol license to serve alcohol to its members.

The developers of the Governor's Gun Club further explained their plans for the venue, noting members will not be able to shoot while drinking or allowed to drink while in possession of a firearm.
