The Red Flag Warning is effective from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. today, and the Freeze Advisory will run from 2 to 10 a.m. Thursday.

The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning today effective till 7 p.m.

Cherokee County is under critical fire weather conditions that could cause rapid spread and aggressive behavior if a fire should develop.

Also make sure to protect your plants tonight because the NWS has also issued a Frost Advisory from 2 to 10 a.m. Thursday. Temperatures are expected to drop to the mid-30s till the morning, but should reach the 60s by afternoon.
