Relocated Woodstock Parkway Open For Traffic

Woodstock Parkway was relocated as part of plans to build the Outlet Shoppes at Atlanta in the city.

The newly relocated Woodstock Parkway is now open for use.

The road opened at 10 a.m. on Friday, the city of Woodstock announced.

Woodstock Parkway was shifted to the eastern part of the Outlet Shoppes at Atlanta's property, and also realigned with the entrance to the Meridian at Ridgewalk neighborhood.

The new intersection with Meridian Drive is in full operation and also has a working traffic signal.

The old Woodstock Parkway will be used as the entrance to the outlet mall, which is under construction and slated to open in July.

The traffic signal at the new mall entrance and Ridgewalk Parkway and Olde Rope Mill Road will temporarily be in flash mode until the entrance to the outlet mall is completed.

The secondary entrance of the outlet mall, located at Woodstock Parkway's intersection with Rope Mill Road on the southern end of the property, is also slated to include a roundabout.
