Warren Johnson Will Be Sworn in Tonight

Johnson, Mayor Donnie Henriques and Councilmen Bud Leonard and Bob Mueller will all be sworn in tonight during the Woodstock City Council meeting.

Woodstock City Councilman-elect Warren Johnson will officially take the Ward 1 seat tonight.

Johnson, along with Mayor Donnie Henriques and Councilmen Bob Mueller and Bud Leonard, will be sworn tonight during the council's meeting, which gets underway at 7 p.m. at the Chambers at City Center. 

Johnson will take the place of Randy Brewer, who decided not to seek re-election to a fifth term. Henriques, Mueller and Leonard were all re-elected in the 2013 municipal elections. 

Judge Stephen Yaklin will perform the swearing in duties. The city will host a welcoming reception at 6:30 p.m. for the four elected officials. 

During the meeting, the council will hear its fiscal year 2013 audit presentation.
