Woodstock Man Wins the Lotto

Flash Floods sold the winning lottery ticket.

A Woodstock man is going to bed $200,000 richer tonight after he matched the first five numbers in the Powerball game.

Peter Kubanyi, 32, bought the winning ticket at Flash Floods located at 12155 Hwy. 92, said Georgia Lottery spokeswoman Tandi Reddick. 

He claimed his Powerball win last Thursday after he matched 9-24-34-36-43 April 20. The Powerball was 27.

There were two other tickets from Florida and New York that won the $200,000 Match 5 prize on April 20. There was one ticket from Florida that added the Power Play to win $1 million, and 681,502 tickets that won over $6.1 million in cash prizes.
