Home Builder Tony Perry Returns To Passion

The long time builder is behind the Village at Towne Lake development under construction.

A long-time homebuilder is exploring a new niche of homes that are hitting the real estate market.

The Greenstone Group, led by builder Tony Perry, will celebrate its grand open house for its Village at Towne Lake development on Thursday Aug. 1.

The multi-generational development will feature courtyard-style homes and "innovative" floor plans that capture the trend of having multiple generations living under one roof, according to the company.

"We created these plans to allow for dual living situations without sacrificing comfort and privacy," Perry said.

Perry is best known for his 2007 appearance on ABC's "Extreme Home Makeover" when he helped with the Tifton-Smith home project.

Homes at the Village at Towne Lake will be priced from the $300,000s and range from 2,200 to 3,500 square feet. They will also have several floor plans, some of which will allow so-called "boomerang" adult children, their parents, in-laws and caregivers to live in separate areas under the same roof.

Each home will have three to five bedrooms, two-and-a-half to three baths, patios, and a full separate living suite.

The grand opening will take place from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. The development is located on Dupree Road at Stone Bridge Parkway.

If you're coming from downtown Woodstock on Towne Lake Parkway, turn left onto Stone Bridge Parkway and go about one mile until you reach Dupree Road.

The model home address is 310 Gray Shingle Lane, Woodstock, GA 30189.
