Kohl's Recognizes Woodstock Students

They now qualify for a chance to win a $1,000 regional scholarship that will be awarded in July.

The Kohl’s Cares Scholarship Program on Wednesday recognized 69 students from Georgia, including some from Woodstock, who have made a positive impact in their communities through volunteerism.

Mary Paris, 10, and Andrew Vassil, 17, from Woodstock were among the students who received a $50 gift card, a certificate and the chance to qualify for a $1,000 regional scholarship that will be awarded in July.

Other Cherokee winners include:

  • Chloe Heidt, 17, Canton
  • Hannah Pasterz, 11, Canton
From the nearly 200 regional winners that Kohl's plans to announce in July, 10 national winners will receive $10,000 each in scholarships. Additionally, Kohl’s will donate $1,000 to a nonprofit organization on each national winner’s behalf.
