Reinhardt Offers MBA Program in Woodstock

The 19-month MBA program will begin in August.

Reinhardt University and the City of Woodstock are teaming up to make education more accessible downtown.

Beginning in August 2012, the university will offer the Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the Chambers at City Center at 8534 Main St., marking the first graduate program followed by the Master of Public Administration with a track in Criminal Justice planned for Spring 2013 delivery.

“The university welcomed the invitation from the City of Woodstock to provide graduate programming for area residents and city employees,“ said University President Dr. J. Thomas Isherwood. “The Woodstock location allows Reinhardt the opportunity of providing a quality educational program that fits the needs of the adult student for flexibility and convenience.”

The MBA will be taught in the Chambers' conference room. Classes will begin Tuesday, Aug. 21 and are scheduled for one night per week. Online instruction will also be included in the 19-month program.

“As one of the best educational values in the Atlanta area, the MBA program has attracted professionals from a variety of different areas including business, education, science and the arts," Isherwood said. "The success of the MBA is underscored by meeting marketplace needs, offering small classes and providing the type of individual attention that is part of the Reinhardt trademark."
