River Ridge Student Named State Champion at Literary Meet

Rachel Peterson placed first in the Class AAAA Girls Extemporaneous Speaking category.

Students from four high schools in the Cherokee County School District recently placed in various events at a Georgia High School Association State Literary Meet, including River Ridge High School’s first GHSA State Champion, Rachel Peterson.
