Goodwill To Open New Woodstock Store

Goodwill of North Georgia is recruiting 40 workers to fill open positions at its new Bells Ferry location.

The store, located at 6719 Bells Ferry Road, will include a donation center and will open to customers on Aug. 28. Opening a new facility also means bringing new jobs to the area.

“With each store we open we are creating new jobs where they previously did not exist,” Elaine Armstrong, director of public relations. 

The organization is hiring floor and production associates. Those interested should apply in person during the Goodwill Hiring Event on July 29 – 31*, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Iglesia Fuente de Vida, located at 205 Arnold Mill Road in Woodstock.
 
Candidates must be at least 18 years old, bring valid identification, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and be able to successfully pass a background check and drug screen. Applicants are encouraged to apply online (requisition number: 3953) before attending the hiring event, but walk-ins are welcome. 

When the store opens next month, Goodwill expects shoppers to find it to be a great place for people looking to save money on clothes, books and other household items, and donors will enjoy the convenient drive-up donation center.
