In a high-energy and high-scoring game, the Etowah Eagles sealed their place in the regional playoffs with Friday night's big win.

Both teams showed up to the game looking for a win and bragging rights for the next year in the crosstown rivalry between the two schools.

The Wolverines couldn't seem to gain ground, and head coach Brent Budde said it is time for the team to revisit the fundamentals. He said he hopes Friday night's loss will motivate the Wolverines to look for a win in next year's game.
