Most of us carry tension in our neck, shoulders, wrists and upper back. This tension shrinks blood vessels, creating pain and stiffness in these areas, which often leads to headaches, fatigue and mental fog.

Learn techniques to relieve these specific tensions. This workshop will provide you with the tools, using yoga asana and breath work, to take into your daily life; and if practiced consistently , will relieve mental fatigue, headaches, and carpal tunnel syndrome, thereby increasing your ability to think clearly and express yourself more honestly.

The cost for this workshop is $30 for members, $35 for non-members

About Rutu:
Rutu is a Certified Purna Yoga Teacher at the 2,000 hour level, registered with Yoga Alliance E-RYT 500. She began her practice of yoga in 1999 and currently studies under the wise and loving guidance of Savitri and Aadil Palkhivala. Her deep understanding of asana and meditation and her professionalism shine through her teaching style in her clarity, joy, her use of humor and the care she brings to each class. Her passion for anatomy, alignment and safety when teaching students asana (postures) along with her conviction that yoga is far deeper than the poses and gross body, attracted her to Purna Yoga. The emphasis on aligning every aspect of our being with the heart center so that all thoughts, words and actions come from a place of Truth and Love is the yoga of transformation and the gift of Purna Yoga.
