Friday Football Preview

West Forsyth (2-0) at Etowah (1-1) – The Eagles welcome a West Forsyth team that is continuing its early-season tour of Region 5-AAAAA. Last week the Wolverines beat Cherokee, 33-9. is coming off of a tough, 11-point loss to Kell where it was hampered by seven turnovers. The Eagles can make great strides toward getting back on track by cleaning up their play. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m.

Kell (1-1) at Woodstock (2-0) – The Wolverines have two six-point victories this season but have an extremely tough task tonight when they host Georgia’s sixth-ranked Kell Longhorns. is doing well with the big play this season and converting on third down, but tonight will be a battle of keeping hold of the football, Kell forces a lot of turnovers. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m.

River Ridge (1-0) at Temple (2-0) – Not only did win its opening game, the Knights dominated with a 35-point victory. E.J. Ellis scored five times and the defense was strong, according to head coach Robert Braucht. Temple is 2-0 and coming off of its own 35-point win last week. The scoreboard could get its own workout tonight. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m.
