A warm, hazy, humid morning greeted more than 800 runners for Woodstock's annual Freedom Run. The 5K Race, the 1-mile Fun Run, and the Tot Trot kicked off a full day of activities as Woodstock celebrated Independence Day.

Joseph Ngetich was the overall winner of the 5K race, finishing in under 15 minutes. Justyna Mudy was the first woman across the 5K finish line, finishing her race in 17:19.
