“The play calling was great and we moved the ball well,” said head coach Bill Stewart. “The biggest thing, defensively we didn’t have any busts. We played hard and aggressive and flew around the ball.” ()
River Ridge 40, Model 14 – E.J. Ellis scored six touchdowns Friday night, according to the Cherokee Tribune, and tallied 307 all-purpose yards as thumped Model to remain perfect on the season at 3-0. The win marks the Knights first three-game winning streak in school history. ()

Woodstock 17, Newnan 14 – quarterback Pryce Washington rushed for 115 yards on the ground, according to the Times-Herald, and threw for a touchdown as well as the Wolverines won on the road Friday.
