“I think the biggest thing is that we played strong on defense,” said Braucht. ()

Kell 26, Etowah 15 – moved to 1-1 after Friday’s loss where it turned the ball over seven times as head coach Bill Stewart called the game sloppy and mistake-laiden. ()

Woodstock 20, Harrison 14 – head coach Brent Budde said he felt the Wolverines made big plays in Friday’s win over Harrison and also did well on third down. He also said it’s nice to watch out for the coming weeks.

“It feels good to get another close win and push our record to 2-0,” said Budde. “I don’t think we’ve played our best football yet, but getting wins when you aren’t playing your best is very important.” ()
