Women's Tennis Team Wins Championship

The J.J. Biello Park Cherokee Tennis Center senior women's team won the 2012 City Championship.

The 2012 City Championship for USTA Atlanta Senior Women's 3.5 Level was won by a group of ladies whose USTA Team is based at the Cherokee Tennis Center in J.J. Biello Park.

Team members include Kim House, Telete Greene, Veronica Sumner, Beth Williams, Diane Granato, Julie Ehrensperger, Sue Hardy, Frieda Matthews and Jan Stout.

The Cherokee Tennis Center is located in J.J. Biello Park at 155 Brooke Blvd. The Center has 10 lighted hard surface courts.

The Center is home to Top Tennis Academy, a high performance training center for juniors.

The Center is home base for many other USTA and ALTA teams. Courts are available by the hour and CTC offers 10 and under instruction, adult drop-in drills, private and group instruction, racquet stringing and ball machine rental.
