A man hailing from Woodstock is preparing for the upcoming NFL Draft.

Evan Wilson, who is the tight end for the University of Illinois, is preparing for the big event with St. Vincent Sports Performance, an intense six-week program that includes performance training, medicine, nutrition and psychology.

The program started last week.

While at the University of Illinois, Wilson has logged 27 receptions for 300 years throughout his four-year career. During the 2013 season, Wilson had six receptions, which totaled 67 yards — with a career-high 36-yard reception.

Wilson graduated from Woodstock High School in 2010.
