Take your BBQ Inside

Looks like it's going to rain on our parade

The weather forecast for our 4th of July is less than optimum. Don’t panic or cancel your get together, just bring the party indoors! Crank up the beach tunes and spread a blanket on the living room floor. With a few adjustments to your menu and the addition of some inside entertainment you can still celebrate with friends and family.

I’m sure everyone will agree with me that the flavor of cooking on an outdoor grill just cannot be duplicated on a stove in the kitchen. So, you can either go in a different direction with your ground beef like making Sloppy Joes or find a grill master who’s not afraid of getting a little wet. Just never use your outdoor grill inside, even in your garage. Charcoal and gas grills produce large amounts of carbon monoxide and even small amounts can kill you. Be safe keep it outside!

Put your slow cooker to work.

Many grill meats such as ribs, beef brisket or pork tenderloin cook up moist and tender in your crock pot. Just make sure to put  the meat in to cook early enough so that it’s ready in time for your guests. Let there be Smores!

Stabilize a can of sterrno in the bottom of a medium sized clean flower pot. You can place this in the center of the table on a trivet and with adult supervision the kids can still enjoy this camp fire treat indoors.

Game On!

You may not be able to enjoy traditional cookout games like horse shoes or badminton but party games such as Apples to Apples can still make your party a hit.

Everyone here at The WOW! Factor of Atlanta hopes that you have a Happy and Safe 4th of July!
