First Baptist Again Meets Health Needs

The Woodstock church held an eye care clinic as a follow-up to its successful dental clinic in August.

Free eye care was the draw Friday at , where doctors and other professionals affiliated with VSP Global participated in a health fair.

The chance to get free exams and glasses had people lining up hours before the 9 a.m. start of the health fair, WSB-TV reported.

VSP said it's the second year it has worked with local eye care providers to offer free exams and glasses to people in need at the health fair.

The health fair, which WSB said continues today without the free eye care, comes during First Baptist of Woodstock's three-day LoveLoud community service effort.

It also comes a little more than two months after the church without dental insurance over two days.
