Pampering with a Purpose Helps Famlies Under Stress
A fundraiser will help an Atlanta nonprofit that gives personal hygiene products to families who have children with neurological disorders.
Throughout May and June, Woodstock locals will have the opportunity to raise money for Families of Children Under Stress (FOCUS) to support families who have children with neurological disorders, global delays, medically fragile, and those in need of constant care, said Siobhan Alvarez who leads the fundraiser.
Alvarez is asking for donations for the 3,000 mothers who care for these children.
"My goal is to raise $3,000+ to support these women, who are often overlooked," Alvarez said in an email.
