Free Concert in City Park, Visit the Corn Maze in Woodstock

We have what you need to know what's going on this week in Woodstock and Towne Lake.

Woodstock-Towne Lake Patch has compiled the top five things happening this week in southern Cherokee County:

  • As a reminder, Cagle's Family Farm is officially opened for the fall season. The famed corn maze is also back for its 13th year in action.
  • Thursday marks the first of four Brown Bag Summer Concert Series the city of Woodstock will hold in September. Between noon and 1 p.m. at the Park at City Center, John Amoroso is slated to play for audience. Bring your lunch and a lawn chair and enjoy a free concert in the park. 
  • On Friday, Main Street Woodstock will commemorate the start of the college and pro football season with Friday Night Live. The Great Downtown Tailgate will kick off at 6 p.m. Sept. 6 throughout downtown Woodstock.
  • Also on Friday, the Wimpy Kid Hard Luck Truck will be at Foxtale Book Shoppe between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m., drumming up excitement for the Nov. 5 release of the latest Wimpy Kid book.
  • The Cherokee Association of Realtors, along with Habitat for Humanity — North Central Georgia, at 8 a.m. Saturday Sept. 7 will kick off the First Nail ceremony for a family at 120 Lyndee Lane in downtown Woodstock.
