Job Fair, Free Concert This Week in Woodstock

We have compiled the most important events happening this week in Woodstock.

We have your weekly roundup on what's happening this week in Woodstock and Towne Lake:

  • As a reminder, students in the the Cherokee County School District this are on a fall break and will return to classes on Monday. School district offices will be furloughed on Monday and Tuesday, and will reopen on Wednesday.
  • Woodstock will once again hold its Free Brown Bag Concert this Thursday at noon at the Park at City Center. This week, Kira Annalise will perform for audiences.
  • Waste Management on Wednesday will hold a job fair at its offices on Main Street. The company needs CDL drivers.
  • On Friday, Green Reaps Opportunities for Woodstock will once again bring Park(ing) Day 2013 to downtown Woodstock. The day will temporarily set up a public park by using a parking space along Main Street. Patch's article has more information. 
  • While it's an off year, there's still an election that will take place later this year. Qualifying to fill the Senate District 14 seat vacated by Barry Loudermilk will start today in Atlanta.
