Joel Osteen, Lego Menorah Lighting This Week in Woodstock

We have the rundown of what's happening this week in Woodstock and Towne Lake.

As you get back into the groove of the work week, Woodstock-Towne Lake Patch will keep you updated on what's happening this week in southern Cherokee County:

  • Early voting continues in the runoff for Georgia Senate District 14. Voters who reside in the district, which encompasses most of Cherokee County west of I-575, can cast ballots early at the Cherokee County Elections Office in Canton between 8:30 and 5 p.m. Monday Nov. 25 through Wednesday Nov. 27.
  • Volunteers are still needed for the Cherokee County Volunteer Aging Council's Adopt-A-Senior program.
  • Mega church Pastor Joel Osteen will be in Woodstock tonight signing copies of his new book. He will be at Foxtale Book Shoppe at 7 p.m., willing and ready to greet fans.
  • There will be no residential trash pick up on Thursday in the city of Woodstock. Trash services will resume on Friday.
  • The World's Tallest Lego Menorah Lighting will take place Sunday Dec. 1 at the Outlet Shoppes at Atlanta, located at 915 Ridgewalk Parkway in Woodstock.
