Veterans Day Ceremony, Christmas Open House This Week
We have the rundown of what's happening this week in Woodstock and Towne Lake.
As you get back into the groove of the work week, Woodstock-Towne Lake Patch will keep you updated on what's happening this week in southern Cherokee County:
- Don't miss tonight's Veterans Day ceremony at the Park at City Center in downtown Woodstock!
- Two Cherokee County authors will sign copies of their books Thursday at Dean's Store in downtown Woodstock.
- The Walk For Ferrial — Walk For Turner Syndrome will get underway Saturday at 10 a.m. at Hobgood Park. Ferrial is a five-year-old girl who was diagnosed with Turner Syndrome at 9 months of age after several medical procedures. The walk is to educate others and create awareness for Turner Syndrome.
- Merchants in downtown Woodstock on Thursday will offer special deals in an effort to encourage residents to shop early for Christmas. Store specials will take place between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m.
