Wine Tastings, Candidate Forum This Week in Woodstock

Here's the rundown on what's happening this week in and around Woodstock.

As you get back into the groove of the work week, Woodstock-Towne Lake Patch will keep you updated on what's happening this week in southern Cherokee County: 

  • Foxtale Book Shoppe will host two authors at its store in downtown Woodstock this week. Wendy Webb will visit on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. and Delilah Dawson will make an appearance on Friday at 7 p.m.
  • ICE Martini Bar and The Gifted Ferret will host wine tasting events this week at their places of business.
  • The Cherokee County Republican Women will hold a candidate forum for the two candidates in the House District 22 runoff at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Cherokee County Historic Courthouse in Downtown Canton. 
  • You can still register for eighth annual Guns & Hoses 5K, which is a friendly competition between the Cherokee Sheriff's Office and Cherokee County Fire and Emergency Services. This year's run will raise money for the Goshen Valley Boys Ranch.
  • Project Valentine is asking residents to donate candy and toiletries items that will be distributed to senior citizens at two nursing facilities.
