Children Can Decorate Pumpkins for Free at Farmers Market

The Cherokee County Farm Bureau will have locally grown pumpkins on hand for children to decorate at the Woodstock Farmers Market on Saturday.

The Cherokee County Farm Bureau will have locally grown pumpkins at the Woodstock Farmers Market this Saturday.

This month's installment of the market, called Pumpkin Day, will allow children to decorate the pumpkins for free on a first come, first serve basis. The activity will start at 9 a.m.

The market, presented this year by Cherokee Bank, will run between 8:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. in the parking lot behind the Chambers at City Center, located at 8534 Main Street in downtown Woodstock.

The market is open each Saturday in the same location and will run through Saturday Oct. 26.
