I love this store & I love Penny! My husband and I were in there not to long ago. We looked around for what seemed like and hour. She interacted with us and joked around we enjoyed her company. For a first visit in any store this kind of treatment is rare. I think it's a shame that you (Laurie) would try to make it seem like this sweet woman was profiling you. I also think you should be ashamed of yourself for trying to make her look like a bad person. Why take it there? 1st time visit loved it & I will be back!

This past weekend was my 2nd visit to the store. They have some okay trinkets to look at, mostly estate sale or consignment type stuff. I'm given this shop a very low rating due to the customer service. I found a silly 5.00 ring I thought I might buy. As I was carrying it around while looking at other stuff, the sales lady behind the counter told me she needed to hold on to that ring before I went into the 2nd section of the store, with a specific tone in her voice like she was about to save the store from some big klepto. Really? Wow. If it's that big of a deal, why don't you have that stuff in a glass case? I haven't been treated with that much suspicion anywhere before, not even downtown Atlanta. Not going back to Pennybag Emporium again, ever.

This is by far my favorite store EVER! The awesome assortment of beautiful indulgences , reasonably priced, is like no other. Nothing looks used, and the stuff that is dated is supposed to be. Penny & Leslie (the owners) are just the coolest fun girls ever. In fact, visiting them is even better than visiting the store! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
