I feel it is time for Dr P to go. Cherokee needs to be like Walton, Lassister and Pope--- I don'tRead More see us getting there with current leadership. Taxpayers should demand more. Maybe Kelly Marlowe has some valid points.....
nybelleinga April 23, 2014 at 12:39 pm
Why do we care about this?
nybelleinga April 23, 2014 at 01:41 pm
I have children at CCA and we have had a generally positive experience there. I believe that thereRead More is much more opportunity for idea exchange and collaboration than other elementary schools locally provide. The kids are generally encouraged and able to discuss their ideas and problem solve in the classroom more than we had experienced at another local elementary school. Why the hate towards CCA? I really don't understand it.

Thank you, Kelly Marlow for waking us up to the importance of local elections. Now I know to checkRead More for any ties to Robert Trim and the local firings political groups for all candidates before voting. If it were not for Marlow I would still be asleep at the wheel. Never again.
Randytx April 20, 2014 at 05:08 pm
Robert Trim seems like a real work of art also- now representing other stooges for the school boardRead More ? Time to canvass your neighborhood and expose both of them prior to the elections.

Ms. Marlow has stolen $10,000 of taxpayer money from the children of Cherokee County, and she hasRead More given nothing back in return. It is time for her to go! Hopeful that the legal system will take care of that, but her resignation would be another acceptable option.

He's only had one B since 8th grade, and that's affected his standing and opportunities???
Michael Taylor April 19, 2014 at 01:22 pm
Yes at high hs hey require a 4.0 to be in the honor roll..yes this one "B' has affected himRead More tremendously...He has 3.98 grade average and can't be in the honor society? Yep..this may trivial to a lot of people but if your child is academically gifted then they will be at a disadvantage in GPA and class standing all because of a lower grade on a hs course taken in middle school...No matter what anyone says it boils down to the GPA...I think these course are good but should not count against hs GPA and is totally unfair.

I'm so sorry:-( That stinks.

More of the same. Just like each accusation Marlow has previously hurled at the school system thisRead More one will be shown as unfounded and baseless. In my opinion her actions continue to be driven by a very public vendetta she has against Dr. P. and CCSD dating back to the CCA charter being denied. Show us something positive and constructive you are willing to do, Kelly. Then perhaps we will take you seriously.
Mary Temple Rich April 13, 2014 at 05:41 pm
Ms. Marlow, if you truly want to improve the CCSD stop wasting time on issues that have already beenRead More resolved just to garner some negative publicity. I am sure that our BOE and Superintendant would love to focus on positive moves to improve our district rather than on constantly defending against these petty and unnecessary attacks. You ran with the slogan " Kelly for the kids" right? Well what have you done to improve anything for the kids?
Mealy Man April 15, 2014 at 12:24 am
A lie is a lie, Kelly Marlow, even when phrased in the form of a question. Example: I'm not sayingRead More that Kelly Marlow was involved in the Lindbergh baby's kidnapping. I just want her to answer questions about where she was that night...

Some days no matter what one tries, things don't always go the way one had planned. Just ask theRead More Archbishop.

'flame retardant'? Some stupid liberal will probably try to change that to 'flame handicapped'.
wmsmom April 13, 2014 at 09:15 pm
No, the name doesn't need to change when it's used in the proper context. Your thoughts areRead More handicapped though, if that helps?

Hey, hey, hey Goodbye April 7, 2014 at 09:09 pm
It's done, Marlow. Pay the sanction and start doing what you were elected to do - making goodRead More decisions for the 39,000+ children in CCSD schools.
Mealy Man April 7, 2014 at 10:06 pm
Hey Dean, how many teachers have you threatened to beat up this week? How many times have theRead More police been called to your home this week? You remain predictably angry and hilariously indecipherable.
Andy Bayler April 11, 2014 at 09:09 am
Dean- My name is spelled "Bayler". No need to capitalize "bias" orRead More "individuals". It's Vulcan Mind Meld, not melt. I can think of way better methods of getting people involved than manufacturing outrage. It's sad, derisive, pathetic, self centered, and an abuse of our school system. Again, Ms. Marlow, go away now. This is not a request. Thank you. That is all. Mr. Sheridan, you can join her.

Seems like someone is trying to make us forget he wants sex offenders at the schools with our kids.Read More Sorry Sam Moore, we will not forget what you tried to pass into Law earlier this year.
Allah Tabul April 4, 2014 at 10:49 am
The superintendent is corrupt? In other news, the sky is blue, the pope is Catholic, and bears crapRead More in the woods. It wasn't enough to cancel school on January 7th due to "coldness" so that district teachers could stuff ballot boxes, Dr P? You had to deliberately send emails mentioning only district teacher Biello as a candidate and then feign ignorance? Your corruption is almost as laughable as the fact that you've got the wool pulled over so many district supporters' eyes.

Now if Georgia can get some jobs for these grads. Only 2 companies in the last engineering job fairRead More were from Georgia. Sad we send our best out of state!
petluvr March 28, 2014 at 10:39 am
Yeah GT!
Road Scholar March 29, 2014 at 09:18 am
Not all Tech grads can stay here in Georgia. We are spread across the world! Another result of theirRead More enrollment policy and the needs of the world! When you are one of the best, non Georgians want you. When I was looking for a job , I had a few out of state firms state that they would like to add a GT grad to their staff. Cross "pollination" I guess!

Well, what the National Education Association spends on this ... is that much less money it canRead More spend on its liberal Democrat politics! Google "NEA" and "contributions" to see what I mean. All members of GAE and CCAE, by the way, fund the partisan NEA with their combined dues.
