A small, dedicated gathering of friends and Civil War enthusiasts met at Yawn Books to chat with the duo who created Crossroads of Conflict: A Guide to Civil War Sites in Georgia last Thursday. Barry Brown and Gordon Elwell published this in-depth, colorful catalog of Georgian battle sites, houses, hospitals and other areas of interest that were somehow significant in the "brother against brother" battle that waged between two halves of our nation as of 1861. Elwell said battle sites are simply a small margin of important Civil War landmarks.
