Beyoncé to Include Georgia in 2013 World Tour
The entertainer, fresh from an exciting Super Bowl halftime performance, will perform just 30 miles away from Woodstock in July. Tickets go on sale Feb. 16.
Beyoncé fans you're in for an encore. The popular entertainer, who "killed it" -- in the words of social media chatter -- in Sunday's Super Bowl 2013 halftime show, plans to bring her new tour to nearby Duluth in July. According to an announcement on Beyoncé website, the "The Mrs. Carter Show" world tour will be at the Gwinnett Arena (about 30 miles from Woodstock) on July 12. Doors will open at 7 p.m. It will be the only Atlanta metro area appearance with tickets for the show going on sale Saturday, Feb. 16. Beyoncé will play 22 shows in North America, beginning June 28 in Los Angeles. She will wrap things up at home in New York City at Brooklyn's Barclays Center on Aug. 3.
