This weekend Daylight Saving Time comes to an end for another year - leaving us with shorter days.
This weekend for most of the United States, Daylight Saving Time ends and Eastern Standard Time begins at 2 a.m. on November 4. That means the length of the day will be shorter as winter approaches. According to Time and Date, on Sunday you can expect the sun to rise at 7 a.m. and set at 5:42 a.m. All states, with the exception of Arizona and Hawaii, along with the territories of Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, Guam, and American Samoa, recognize Daylight Saving Time every spring. InfoPlease.com reports, in April 2005 Indiana passed a law agreeing to observe daylight saving time with the rest of the country.
