Leaders are Thankful for Success of Fall Events
More than 2,500 people attended the third annual Fields of Faith, sponsored by Cherokee Fellowship of Christian Athletes and held at Cherokee High School’s football field last in October. According to student leader Brandon Roberts, “91 souls were either saved or rededicated.” Cherokee FCA Area Director Bill Queen called it “a great night of praise, worship and testimonies.” An FCA golf tournament fundraiser held Oct. 2 raised $40,000. The event fielded 128 golfers, with a silent auction that featured game jerseys of Matt Ryan, Roddy White, Julio Jones and Michael Turner.
