Woodstock Doctor, Artist Pen Book on Marriage, Family

Dr. Mike and Ann Litrel will launch their new book at FoxTale Book Shoppe in Woodstock on Saturday.

Award-winning columnist Dr. Mike Litrel and his wife Ann will soon launch their first collaborative work, a he said/she said book on family and marriage. The book launch celebration will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at FoxTale Book Shoppe in downtown Woodstock. The book, titled "Family — A Mismatch Made in Heaven: Surviving True Love, Children, and Other Blessings In Disguise," was a result of Dr. Litrel's patients asking him to write a new book of his family stories.  It's the second book for Dr. Litrel. His first, "The Eyes Don’t See: What Patients Can Teach Doctors About Medicine," is a book about the relationship between faith and health. 'Cake Boss' Buddy Valastro Visits Woodstock

Valastro signed copies of his new book for hundreds of residents at FoxTale Book Shoppe in downtown Woodstock.

FoxTale Book Shoppe on Tuesday was taken over by more than 350 people on Tuesday who braved the cold weather to see Buddy Valastro. Valastro and his family business, Carlo's Bake Shop, have become a worldwide phenomenon due to the popularity of TLC's Cake Boss, Kitchen Boss and Next Great Baker. 'Cake Boss' Expected To Draw Large Crowd

Buddy Valastro of TLC's 'Cake Boss' will be at FoxTale Book Shoppe at noon on Tuesday to sign copies of his book.

A large crowd is expected to pack the streets of downtown Woodstock in anticipation of Buddy Valastro's visit to Foxtale Book Shoppe on Tuesday. Valastro will grace Woodstock with his presence at noon Tuesday at the bookstore where he will share 100 delicious, essential Italian-American recipes, from his grandmother's secret dishes to his personal favorites. Novelist Shares His Story at FoxTale

Author Jeffrey Stepakoff launches his new novel at the FoxTale Booke Shoppe Tuesday at 7 p.m.

While the Fourth of July merriment will have concluded, the FoxTale ladies are continuing the party Tuesday night with an Atlanta celebrity. Author Jeffrey Stepakoff will be celebrating the release of his new novel, The Orchard at the FoxTale Booke Shoppe Tuesday at 7 p.m. This is Stepakoff’s second novel of fiction, his first being Fireworks over Toccoa, which he released last year. Tickets to the Launch Party are $28 and include a signed hardcover copy of The Orchard, wine, hors d’ oeuvres and prizes. Stepakoff said he is thrilled to release his new novel at the FoxTale. “The owners have been very supportive of me.
