Woodstock Store Sells Winning Lottery Ticket
Beverly James recently won $50,000 from the Georgia Lottery Corporation's Fantasy 5 drawing.
An Acworth woman purchased a winning lottery ticket last week in Woodstock. PJ’s Food Mart, located at 6741 Bells Ferry Road in Woodstock, was where Beverly James purchased her ticket for the Dec. 16 Fantasy 5 drawing, which garnered her $50,000. James, a medical office professional, said she was "excited" to match all five numbers for the win. “I used (family) birthdays and my brother’s football number," she said. The winning numbers from the drawing were: 7-9-11-21-32. James claimed her prize on Monday at the Georgia Lottery District Office in Dalton.
