With 55 percent of the votes, the Rudbeckia was beat by the Miss Huff Lantana in a runoff election.
The battle between two flowers has ended, and one came out victorious with your help. The Miss Huff Lantana has been deemed the Woodstock City Flower after receiving 55 percent of the votes in last week's runoff election. There were 359 votes cast in the online election, according to Main Street Woodstock. Residents will start to see the Miss Huff Lantana as members of GROW, Green Reaps Opportunity for Woodstock, will be featuring this sun-loving shrub in beautification projects around town. You can vote online till Friday in the runoff election for the Woodstock City Flower.
Woodstock is asking for your help again with choosing the City Flower. It's down to the Miss Huff Lantana and Rudbeckia. They came neck-in-neck in the original voting that ended March 16. GROW, Green Reaps Opportunity for Woodstock, will feature the winner of the runoff in beautification projects around town. You can cast your vote here. Woodstock is asking for your help in selecting an Official City Flower. With this online survey, you can help Main Street Woodstock's GROW, Green Reaps Opportunity for Woodstock, pick a symbol for the city.
