Woodstock CFO Resigned

Two outside audits showed that the vity of Woodstock's finance department kept poor records.

Woodstock's CFO resigned last week under the threat of being fired. Henry Bucci resigned Jan. 26, three days after the mayor and City Council decided during an executive session to terminate his employment, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported. The newspaper reports that two outside audits showed the city's finance department had been keeping poor records, such as making at least two late payments to employees' voluntary contribution retirement plans in 2009 and neglecting to note a $600,000 payment on a water and sewer bond. That was an oversight by a subordinate but ultimately was his responsibility, Bucci told the AJC. Wow. Surprise. Government incompetence. WHO could have seen this coming? Jesus Christ. I'll just pay all of my taxes now so that you can waste it all. I will not complain, that might throw up a "RED FLAG". Sad. If I had my way, every Government building would be made of cinder blocks, NOT MARBLE.
