Cherokee Commissioners To Consider Trail Bid
The Cherokee County Board of Commissioners will consider awarding a bid to build part of Woodstock's multi-use trail network with parks bond revenue.
A new multi-use trail system could soon be on the way for Woodstock. The Cherokee County Board of Commissioners will consider awarding a bid to Georgia Development Partners, LLC of Atlanta to build the trails in the city during its meeting today. The meeting will start at 6 p.m., following the 3 p.m. work session. Both meetings will be held at the county administrative building. The cost of the project is $999,939.29 and the funding would be taken out of Woodstock's $5 million portion of the $90 million parks bond county voters approved in 2008.
