People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk run the risk of a serious or life threatening allergic reaction if they consume the Newman’s Own Lite Honey Mustard Dressing with the affected time code. No other Newman’s Own products or flavors are impacted. The products are sold in retail stores in the Eastern to Midwestern US. Some Peanut Butter Newman-O's Sandwich Crème Cookies Recalled

The organic snack has been recalled due to a Salmonella health risk concern.

  Newman's Own Organics announces that due to the expanded scope of Sunland, Inc.'s recall of nut butter products (peanut butter in particular), we are initiating a voluntary limited recall of certain lots of Peanut Butter Newman-O's Sandwich Crème Cookies, with expiration dates 27MAY13 and 3MAY13, because the products may be contaminated with Salmonella. Salmonella is an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Healthy persons infected with Salmonella often experience fever, diarrhea (which may be bloody), nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain.
