The 100,000 square-foot, four story building will open up to patients and tenants in the summer.

Northside Hospital is on track to open its newest facility on the south end of Cherokee County in this summer.  Northside Hospital-Cherokee is in the midst of building its 100,817 square-foot facility, which will be located on the former site of the Madison Pointe commercial and residential development at the corner of I-575 and Towne Lake Parkway. Mike Patterson, director of operations at Northside Hospital-Cherokee, said the facility is slated to be finished by early July and will be turned over to Northside.  "It's a really beautiful building," he added. Northside Hospital-Cherokee held a ground breaking on Thursday for the new facility.

Northside Hospital continues to expand its footprint in Cherokee County. The company held a groundbreaking on Thursday to welcome its newest facility, a 100,817-square-foot medical office building at the northwest corner of Interstate 575 and Towne Lake Parkway in Woodstock City, county and business leaders were on hand for the event.  Northside Hospital-Cherokee CEO Billy Hayes said both the city of Woodstock and Cherokee County have been nothing short but of accommodating and supportive of the company's plans for the area. Reporting to the Medical Surgical Manager, the Unit Secretary will be responsible for performing general clerical and reception duties according to needs of patient unit or department.
