Deadline Nears For Woodstock Public Safety Academy

Time is winding down for residents to apply for the Spring 2013 Woodstock Citizens' Public Safety Academy. Thursday is the deadline to apply to participate in the free sessions, which will be hosted as a partnership between the Woodstock Police and Fire Departments. The sessions will be held every Thursday between March 28 and June 18 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Magnolia Hall (formerly the Woodstock Community Center). The academy offers a series of classes that will educate residents on several key aspects of both agencies.
