Sara Lee, Arnold Dutch Country Bread Recalled in Georgia

The recall is a precautionary measure, no illnesses have been reported.

BBU, Inc., the parent of the Bimbo Bakeries companies, has initiated a voluntary recall of bread and buns due to possible presence of flexible wire caused by a faulty screen at a third party flour mill. This recall does not affect any products currently offered for sale in retail stores but the company, out of an abundance of caution, wants to alert consumers to check any affected products they may still have in their homes. Recalled products in Georgia are listed below with the applicable "Best By" dates and their states of distribution. The affected product is strictly limited to a single batch of Organic Chicken Formula with the "Best if Used By" date of 10/04/13.

Nature's Variety recently announced a voluntary recall of Instinct® Raw Organic Chicken Formula with a "Best if Used By" date of 10/04/13. This action is being taken because pieces of clear plastic may be found in some bags and could cause a potential choking risk to pets. The source of plastic has been identified and the issue has been resolved. Kroger Recalls Some Mardi Gras King Cakes

Stores in Georgia are part of the recall.

The Kroger - Atlanta Division said on Monday it is recalling some in-store baked Mardi Gras King Cake Cinnamon sold in four states, including Georgia, because it may contain pecans not listed on the label. Customers who purchased the product between Dec. 30 and Feb. 4, should return the product to stores for a full refund or replacement. People who are allergic to pecans could have a serious or life-threatening reaction if they consume this product. For consumers who are not allergic to pecans, there is no safety issue with the product. Kroger stores in three other states are included in this recall including: Alabama, South Carolina and eastern Tennessee. Annie's Homegrown Frozen Pizza Recalled for Metal Fragments

The natural and organic company says no illnesses or injuries have been reported from the recall at this point.

Annie's Inc. (NYSE:BNNY) has initiated a voluntary recall of Annie's Homegrown Frozen Pizza due to the possible presence of fragments of flexible metal mesh caused by a faulty screen at a third-party flour mill, according to a release sent out by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Affected products are distributed at grocery, mass and natural food stores throughout the United States, including Woodstock Publix and Kroger stores.
