Woodstock LCI Plan Meeting Set For Tonight

The meeting is the latest in an effort to get feedback from the Woodstock community on its 10-year update to its Livable Centers Initiative plan.

The latest installment in a series of meetings to get feedback on the Woodstock's Town Center Master Plan will be held tonight.  The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at the Chambers at City Center at 8534 Main Street. The plan will provide city leaders with housing, transportaiton and economic development guidance for the next 25 years. It also encourage a contemporary and innovative roadmap for the city and its partners based on market realities and demographic trends. The Town Center area is bordered by Highway 92 to the south, I-575 to the west, Dobbs Road and the utility corridor to the east, and on the north by Haney Road and Woodstock Elementary School. Martinis, Sushi Will Join Woodstock's Restaurant Offerings

ICE Martini Bar will open tonight during the city's Friday Night Live event.

The diverse food choices in downtown Woodstock will soon become more varied. Danny and Peggy Snow of northeast Cobb County are opening the latest restaurant in Woodstock. ICE Martini Bar, an eatery that will combine sushi and drinks, will greet new customers during tonight’s Friday Night Live event held in downtown Woodstock. ICE is decked out with a cool blue and white color scheme, designed to bring what Peggy Snow described as a Buckhead feel into Woodstock. The place is complete with a full bar and comfortable seating in an lounge atmosphere.
