The Woodstock Downtown Development Authority will meet tonight and will get an update on its mobile app.
An update on the development of a mobile app for downtown Woodstock will be heard by the Woodstock Downtown Development Authority during its meeting tonight. The meeting will start at 6 p.m. at the Chambers at City Center at 8534 Main Street. The app would include maps, calendar information, notifications and directories for downtown businesses. A smartphone makes a great gift for yourself or for someone else. But receiving a smartphone is a bit like buying a pet: the fun parts also come with some work and some adjustments. Downloading apps that make life easier and incorporate local information is like training a puppy. It results in less hassle and more fun.
