Woodstock Native To March in Obama Inauguration Parade
Capt. Ashley E. Moore will march with the Marine Corps’ service staff in the 57th annual Presidential Inaugural Parade.
Editor's note: Patch has learned that Matt Rich, a first year midshipmen at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy and a 2012 graduate of Etowah High School, will be in the parade as well. A Woodstock native will be among thousands of citizens participating in the 57th annual Presidential Inauguration parade today. Capt. Ashley E. Moore will march with the Marine Corps' service staff during the parade, which will march pass the White House along Pennsylvania Avenue and arrive at the U.S. Capitol before the ceremony. Moore told the Defense Video and Imagery Distribution System that it was an "honor" for her to participate in the ceremony. Moore will march in the parade along with four other officers and other Marine Barracks Washington service …
