ReplyI had heard it might be April 17, but then I spoke with someone at the carnival last night who told me April 18, which is the date they're promoting. Since this is still a point of confusion, I'll check it out and update if necessary. Thanks for letting me know!

Hey NewtownPatchster -- the $150,000 on the town side was cut by restructuring one SRO position at Reed Intermediate School, with $30,000 cut from health benefits in the contingency fund and $20,000 to be removed at the First Selectman's discretion. On the BOE side, they are responsible for deciding where to cut from their budget -- the Legislative Council just cuts a dollar amount.
