Bio: Jessie is the Local Editor for the Spring Valley and St. Andrews Patches. She was born and raised in Alabama and graduated from the University of Alabama in 2010. She spent four months at the Chattanooga Times Free Press before coming to Patch in October 2010.

Religion
How religious would you consider yourself? (casual, observant, devout, non religious)

I've been a missionary in three countries and I'm pretty sure I left a big part of my heart with some Kuna Indians in the Darien Rainforest in Panama. Other than walking around daydreaming about my Panamanian babies (which I've undoubtedly brought up if we've talked for more than 5 minutes), I try to bless others as much as I've been blessed myself. I regularly volunteer with local animal shelters and I teach ballet to inner city little girls.
