  High School students may think they are old enough to make informed decisions about relationships and physical encounters, however when one individual is almost double the other's age often there occurs some emotional manipulation occurring to the younger participant. Willing or not, she may still be a victim. 1 out of every 4 girls are sexually molested by the age of 18, and quite a few are 'groomed' by the older participant. Unless you have experienced this kind of event personally or have seen a close family member go through it, a more comapssionate stance for the student might be appropriate.

  I boycott any business or individual who advertises on the 'only' billboard located on Eagle Drive. I didn't go to a certain grocery store for over 6 months. Many people have probably acclimated to that flipping monstrosity, but I will not.

  Magic Mike is a pretty in your face movie. If you don't mind hearing the f-bomb from multiple characters in rapid sequence throughout the whole movie and watching the drug and alcohol induced downfall of the main characters (one 19 years old) with only a sliver of hope for one (30 yr old) of them at the conclusion of the movie, this may be your flick. Otherwise, I'd think waiting until it hits DVD, Redboxing it, hitting MUTE, and turning on some good music, to really enjoy the view. The negatives far out weighed the positives in my opinion.

  The F-bomb hits you like a 1000 round a minute machine gun all the way through the movie. Good, entertaining movies can be made without the prolific use of such words. It is a very in your face movie that holds little humor. Way more movie than I expected. Totally disappointed and would NOT recommend. This will be the last time I go to opening night of a movie, will have to know more before I throw away $10 like that. The negatives far outweighed the eye-candy part. I sincerely hope my daughter never sees anything like this.

  What an embarrassing moment for Cherokee County. Being the same age, I can understand the hype with Blazing Saddles, however even 30 years ago, an outfit like that was asking for trouble in the South. Equal responsibility for the shame also lies with those who provided the picture to the media. Thanks for the big black eye on the community I love. This is nothing but a mud slinging contest, is there a third candidate I can vote for? The tactics by both of these parties makes me sick.
