Volunteers Needed to Help Clean Little River

The 2013 Rivers Alive Clean Up is set for Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Residents who like to get their hands dirty while protecting environment are needed to help clean Little River on Saturday.

The 2013 Rivers Alive Clean Up will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Olde Rope Mill Park in Woodstock. Those who wish to lend a hand are asked to wear old clothes, old shoes and heavy work gloves (gloves will be provided on site). 

The event is sponsored by the cities of Woodstock and Holly Springs, Rivers Alive, Cherokee County Water and Sewerage Authority and the Upper Etowah River Alliance

Breakfast and coffee will be provided on site for volunteers before the clean up and snacks and water will be provided throughout the task. Lunch will be provided for volunteers after the clean up.
