Two Thrilling Southern Authors Reading & Signing at Foxtale Book Shoppe

Alabama author Robert
Bailey and TIME-recognized advocate Pat Morgan will be reading and
signing their latest releases at Fox Tale Book Shoppe on April 4th at
6:30 p.m.

Robert Bailey's The Professor (Exhibit A; January 15) tells an amazing story of betrayal, excitement, and Alabama football. Winston Groom, author of “Forrest Gump,” calls The Professor a "rare combination of thrills, chills and heart," and Homer Hickam, author of October Sky and Rocket Boys, describes the book as "Taut, page-turning, and smart." The Professor combines the thrills and authenticity of a John Grisham novel for the audience that flocked to “Friday Night Lights.”

Pat
Morgan found her calling 30 years ago to help break American's cycle of
homelessness in Memphis and across the country. Her new book Concrete Killing Fields (February
20, Mile High Press) follows her own story as a homelessness advocate -
the mistakes, the invaluable community support, and of course the
wonderful redemption for those she worked with as well as herself. Pat
was selected at age 50 by Time Magazine as
one of 20 outstanding college juniors in America, and her work for
former President Clinton resulted in a presidential appointment to the
U.S. Inter-agency Council on Homelessness, the pinnacle of policy-making
on the issue.
